Beaches

Secluded beautiful beaches with fine white sand are practically around every turn as you ride the calm waters surrounding the Exuma cays.

Oceania Heights has a prime elevated location overlooking the spectacular Bahamian blue waters of a five-mile beach. Many other spectacular beaches are also accessible by boat. Visit sandbars surrounded by calm blue waters, or stocking island a few miles away to play volleyball or lounge on the beach overlooking Elizabeth Harbour. Stocking island also has a more open beach on the other side of the island with larger waves.

Golfer’s Paradise

The Greg Norman designed championship golf course is convieninetly located at Emerald Bay only 10 minutes from Ocenaia Heights. Enjoy the endless challenges and possibilities that this 7200-yard, 18-hole course has to offer.

Travel + Leisure Golf named the Golf course at Emerald Bay "The Best Golf Course in the Caribbean."

Boating

Enjoy a tour of the surrounding cays with our captain ‘Gulf’ or rent your own boat during your stay at Oceania Heights for the freedom to visit and snorkel at your own pace. Great Exuma is host to the National Family Islands Regatta in April. Each year for four days the best sailors from every island in the Bahamas compete in Elizabeth harbor.

Tennis Courts

Enjoy a refreshing morning or afternoon set of tennis at the new Oceania Heights Tennis Club. We have a Laycold cushion surfaced courts with net and lines to U.S.T.A specifications. Our court is well lit for evening play as well.

Stocking Island

Captain "Gulf" will take you to "Stocking Island" just across Elizabeth Harbour where you can enjoy some chilled tropical drinks at the beach house bar called Chat ‘n’ Chill. Or simply sit in the warm waters while waiting for your "Conch Salad" to be prepared and delivered to you as you sit in the ocean. As the evening approaches you can also take in the "Pig Roast." Their motto is "No shoes, Kick back, Just relax!"

Fishing

Exuma is famous for its Bone Fishing. Bone fish are especially elusive and require fly fishing techniques. With a guide you could enjoy the challenge while soaking in the Idyllic surroundings. You can also try your hand at catching a Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo or other exciting fish that inhabit the Bahamas. You can eat your catch the same day.
