Nestled against the backdrop of Exuma's pristine waters, Tims on the Bay emerged onto the scene with a bang. The anticipation surrounding its grand opening was immense, and it didn't disappoint. With an inviting patio and a promise of culinary delights, Tims on the Bay quickly established itself as a standout in Exuma's dining scene. With a ribbon cutting ceremony, Tim’s on the Bay was opened August 5, 2023.

Location, Location, Location
One cannot talk about Tims on the Bay without highlighting its top-tier location. Situated to maximize breathtaking views of the bay and the aquamarine waters of Jimmy Hill Beach, the restaurant offers a dining experience like no other. The combination of natural beauty and carefully crafted aesthetics creates a setting that elevates the overall enjoyment of every meal.

We find that Tim’s on the Bay is a perfect stop for guests that arrive early to the island on their check-in date. If you make your way into Georgetown when you land, you will see it on your left hand while driving on the Queens Highway. Most homes have a check-in time of 3:00pm or 4:00pm, and therefore you may have some time to spend prior to checking into your vacation rental. Additionally, sure to budget time for grocery pickup at one of the local grocery stores such as Exuma Markets or Prime Island Meats if your property manager hasn’t done this for you already.

One reason we adore Tim’s on the Bay is because of their opening hours. As some may know, restaurants in general on Exuma tend to close slightly early, with not many locations being consistently open past 6:00pm. Tim’s on the Bay is an outlier and is sure to be your trusty late night spot when you and your travel dream team don’t feel like cooking or eating at your villa. At the time of writing the article, the hours, in general, are as follows.

Tuesday to Friday - 12:00pm to 11:00pm
Saturday - 8:00am to 11:00pm

Based on the reviews on Google, the Chicken Wrap and Brunch are hot items! The lunch menu has Quick Bites, Burgers and Wraps, all with varying Beef/Seafood/Vegetarian options. Occasionally, Tim’s on the Bay will have feature nights, a good example being: “Fettuccini Night”, where guests can order fettuccini with their choice of meat topping!
